Bites and Sites of Canmore Walking Food Tour

8.Bites and Sites of Canmore Walking Food Tour

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 26 reviews · 2 hours 30 minutes (approx.) · from $74

Spend about two and a half hours walking central Canmore with a local guide such as Cathy, tasting food from several independent eateries. Expect pastries, bagel sandwiches, poutine, focaccia, chowder, ice cream, and gelato, plus stories about Canmore’s coal-mining past. Thursday morning tours may finish at the seasonal Canmore Mountain Market.

“Kathy is relatively new at this but very knowledgeable about the area having lived here a long time. We got lots of good tips about things to do and places to go as we took the tour at the beginning of our trip. Our food was small samples and pretty good, especially the caprese sandwich on focaccia bread. We think the ice cream stop could’ve been reversed to the last stop rather than the second stop as you do get enough food to suffice for dinner.”
